not great, not bad, live recordings were a bit scuffed imo but thats to be expected.
pleaae for the love of god you dont need this much autotune jhariah you have a beautiful voice. other than that its a good song, the chorus hits
this very heavily reminds me of the remix of "cold weather" by glass beach that was on alchemist rats beg bashful, exept that remix was really funny to make up for how bad it was. this isnt.
unlike most albums i own on vinyl, i had NEVER heard Kid A in its entirety until i bought it on vinyl, and BOY DO I TELL YOU. i shouldve listened to this album a long time ago. The only songs i had heard before buying it were Everything in its Right Place, Kid A, and Motion Picture Soundtrack. Those are still my favorites from the album, but EVERY song is great, and that isnt exaggeration. all of these songs hit so well. no other words
its a good album, but the guitars and vocals get a little repetitive. some of the lyrics feel like they didnt have any thought put into them, like they were written just to rhyme. this is also miles better than their demos, which is all i was going off of going into the album. if i had one suggestion for them, it would be to expand their horizons past the stereotypical "midwest emo" sound that theyve had going on.
i feel like the vocals couldve been done better, other than that its just fine, at least by glass beach standards
its a good song, but not very "glass beach". kinda just feels like a good indie song youd randomly find on bandcamp or smth
such good music, but nothing too interesting. truly gone is one of my favorite folk songs ever
i will glaze this song until the day i die because HABABDBSBSBSB i cry so bad every time i hear it its just made so well. its a little empty at times but it fits. also this song absolutelyy jumpscared me when i listened to my tfgba vinyl for the first time
???? what is this bro. like what was going through j's head when she made this im genuinely so curious
lowkey this was made by my bandmates brother but we dont talk about that. genuinely a really good emo album, it reminds me of early glass beach songs exept not as queer /neg
really interesting cover ep. if this was made a little later into j's career i would probably like it more
once again, i dont get why people dont like this one. by no means is it the best thing theyve done, but its a collection of really solid acoustic renditions
