Troye Sivan's latest project is magnificent. He's slowly shedding his past family-friendly image and heading towards a more modern, mature sound. While I think the album could have been more diverse in sound, this was still a great, introspective record from Troye. I'm excited to see him flourish and grow into this new sound.

Hyolyn's 2018 singles are what carry this EP, but it's still perfect for the summer. If anything, I wish we had got more than three new songs from her but it's better than nothing so I'll take it! I hope Hyolyn is more active and comes back again soon!
Favourites: SAY MY NAME, Dally, SEE SEA
"Not Shy" is admittedly a step down from ITZY's showstopping previous EP "IT'z ME" but nevertheless, the girls bring it! The album is full of the quirky charm we've come to expect from ITZY. I think there could have been more variety in sound but this was still a great effort. I'm excited to see what their next album will be like!

Victoria Monét's debut album is a good start to her career. I love its funk-pop sound but this 25-minute effort somehow feels 40 minutes long by the end of the album. JAGUAR has great sexy vibes but lyrics sometimes feel childish, especially in "Ass Like That." I think if Victoria keeps this sound for her next project and continues to sophisticate her writing, she will come out with something truly perfect. Until then, this is a pretty good album that I'll try listening to ... read more
