Few hip hop acts of the modern era have maintained a discography as consistently memorable as the Texas based boy band BROCKHAMPTON. Be it their fun, creative and consistently unique SATURATION series, or their somber and harrowing records like 2019’s GINGER, the collective has long proven their legitimate unpredictability. Their latest LP ROADRUNNER: NEW LIGHT, NEW MACHINE, is at large their most accessible. It is the first time the group has boasted big name rap features and tracks that ... read more

While How We Intended does not embody the stellar instrumentation or exceptional penmanship many have come to expect from Marlon Craft, it still exhibits his classic sound in a more introspective way. How We Intended is the first time that Craft has come across as truly relatable. What first ... read more

As the first release under Palladino’s name, it will definitely be alluring to see if he will continue down this path of obscure, collective instrumentalism or if he will return to the famous working session bassist we all know him for. Truthfully, ... read more

Since the release of their debut in 2001, the Chicago folk-rock project Fruit Bats has gone through countless personnel changes. Nonetheless, after over two decades of output, Eric D. Johnson has remained the band's constant. Serving as the face of Fruit Bats, and in more recent years simply going by the name as an individual, Johnson has always served as the primary singer/songwriter for the group. In many ways, his output in the early 2000’s was wildly ahead of its time, and paved the ... read more
