The Portland rapper’s buoyant new project sounds like a controlled sugar rush, folding elements of pop and dance into his bright raps.

Enough of the ideas TWOPOINTFIVE throws at the wall stick.

After making a statement with Limbo over a year ago, Amine continues to prove that Caroline wasn’t the end for him. Starting his career with Good For You and ONEPOINTFIVE, the energy, flows, beats, and all around fun was all there at the beginning. A lot of reviews are saying he's trying to sound like other artists but this whole thing sounds very Aminé to me, idk

the theory of a Yeezus album states that at some point, a bold artist will release an experimental work that people will generally disregard because of the massive shift in artistry. however, these types of albums will later on grow on some people leaving a torn relationship in the fandom: you either love it or hate it.

i didn’t think this mixtape was as strong for the first listen ... read more
