Solid body of work Soul, keep up the hard work 💪🏽

It's quite hard to start a review on an album like this, not only because there are so many things one can say about this album, but also because even after months of being out, this project has left me speechless ever since. I feel like "Rodeo" is one of those rare albums that's hard to dislike if you're a fan of trap, southern hip hop, or sort of neo-psych rap music in general. Samurai by Lupe Fiasco is another one of those "nostalgic" albums for me in this point of my life. Not only do I think this is Vince's most sonically pleasing, most cohesive and deepest album he's made, but it's also an extremely nostalgic album for me as well. Literally got the wind knocked out of me when I first listened to this

Listened to a lot of this album YEARS ago, and I vividly remember "understanding" where the music was coming from, but not necessarily enjoying what I was listening to. When I finally rediscovered Death Grips, "The Money Store" scratched an itch I never knew I had.

"Get Got" is a great opener with a lot of energy from Ride, as well as producers Andy Morin and Zach Hill. I think it drags for a BIT too long, but serves its purpose incredibly well.

Discovering this album was a true blessing. The entire time listening to this album for the first time almost makes you question what you already know about music in general. You can definitely tell that each of the members of King Crimson truly took their time with every instrument, every break, everything.
