Bjork is a bizarre lady. I've never had an artist's music confuse me as much as Bjork's has, because everything from the vocals to the instrumentals have so little meaning and coherence, but yet they still do. Her talent is inexplicable, and I couldn't say if she's a genius or a straight up weirdo.
What I can say with Post is that it has its highs but also its lows. There's quite a few boring or forgettable tracks, mainly due to them being a lot more tame than the best stuff on here. But then you have the helpings of Hyper-Ballad, Isobel and Oh So Quiet and suddenly Bjork's charisma and theatrical kookiness come onto show. I can't help but still feel disjointed from the experience though, simply because it's one that I haven't heard anything like before and I'm unsure of whether I'd return to this album much.
Bonus points for some of the best screams in musical history.

Best: Hyper-Ballad, Enjoy, You've Been Flirting Again, Isobel, Possibly Maybe, I Miss You
