Sigur Rós and Phil Elverum's influence on this project is very prominent, especially in the track Philautia, which samples the guitar strumming from "Microphones in 2020". Having said that, I wasn't expecting this level of quality from an AOTY user album; I'm baffled by how good this is.
"Top of the morning to ya laddies, my name is peeewwwwdiepiee!" - Markiplier (1987).
Fun album.
The first track is decent, not too bad. But the rest of the album... very icky, no good.
I really enjoyed the atmosphere of this project, though some parts of the album felt a little too long imo. The last track had me speechless, definitely one of the best songs I've listened to in a long time.
The anime itself is spectacular and its soundtrack is probably one of the best anime soundtracks I've ever listened to.
One of Radiohead's weaker projects, but certainly not bad. The live version of Bloom (From The Basement) is stellar and groovy af.
I'd rate this higher if the last track was sung by Brook.
This is my first introduction to Taylor Swift discography and ngl, the first half of this album is amazing. Really enjoyed her mellow vocals and song writing in this project.
My favourite tracks on this LP probably are: the last great american dynasty, exile, mirrorball, seven.
