The vibe kinda reminds me of Stardew Valley, very comfy. Also didn't realize the album was released on my birthday after listening through the whole thing, nice.
My childhood breakfast cafe experiences with my family were always soundtracked by the repetitive playing of "Song from a Secret Garden." These days, that's no longer a thing.
Holy shit, I didn't expect this album to have so many euphoric moments, especially the folk songs. One minor nitpick is that some of the drone elements dragged on a bit too long for my liking, but even that didn't bother me much. This project has given me some of the best folk songs I've ever heard ("Cauled Ones and Birth Rugs" being one of NSB's best works, if not the best), and it solidifies NSB as one of my favorite artists.
