evilgiane is one of those producers who just elevates everyone that he works with. this is an amazing project, showcasing his range and delivering everything from the disarming grooves of SIP SIP to the heavenly layered soundscape of STARBURST. hope he makes a full tape with xav and nett in the near future.
Real fly shit. WIsh Pharrell and Chad Hugo were still at their early 2000s level, all these guys would slide on their beats.
Don't Cry is the best instrumental of all time. The way Dilla chopped that sample blows me away every single time. The fact that he produced a major part of the record on an hospital bed while fighting for his life really shows how talented he was.
Donuts changed the way I feel music. Miss you deeply Dilla, rest in beats.

I love this album so much. It always makes me happier when I hear it and it has some of my favorite production of all time.
