I think the best way to define this album is "sonic evolution." I've been a huge Good Kid fan since 2022, and after years of listening to this band with the same sound, I felt like they had nothing left to offer. Nah, the goat. Addictive and a little annoying just for those exploited bangers, but a masterpiece even if I can't take Thriller serious (thanks internet). Van Hallen solo on Beait, the Paul Mcartney featuring on The Girl Is Mine, the Quincy Jones production and a short tracklist with iconic ballads as Human Nature and The Lady In My Life. This is why human race existence is worth.
MJ was a humble boy, he ain't made a better album just beacuse he know people were not prepared for him yet. Still, we got bangers everywere, the use of R&B and sightly afrobeat... just good as him.
At leath I remembered some from the tracklist and not like Ben. Mid in the whole expression, but important as an evolution for Michael's voice, seen on "The Jacksons" album.
I listened all the The Jackson 5 and The Jackson's discography and this album made something that no other could, make me forget the tracklist. I never gonna say this album it's bad, but I doubt I'll ever listen to any of these songs again in my life.
