no skips actually. fun, upbeat, funky. is this neo soul? psychedelic soul? not sure of the right name - but a well-produced find nonetheless. i look forward to seeing what this artist has in store.

The Alexander 23 effect sweeps another pop star up into its simple, but at times boring, production. and that comes from someone who enjoyed Alexander's "I'm sorry I love you" EP (which is still, honestly, a guilty pleasure) but this album is underwhelming at best, and forgettable at worst. pop fans will praise it because it sounds like everything else they listen to - and to me, that's the issue.
