exactly what you’d expect… why change the sound if it works! most of this was really bland though. sideways is one of the most gorgeous openers i’ve ever heard and my expectations were pretty high after it but only a few other songs moved me sadly. i love jack and i’ll always be a fan of his production and writing but especially on bleachers albums a lot of it just kind of starts sounding the same :/

not every song moved me but i do still really think this will be their magnum opus of sorts… the unit songs and masterpiece (one of my absolute favorite songs of the year hands down) are so Them. this cunty vibe and sound is made for them. unfortunately serve didn’t connect with me at all i can’t really see why they chose it as the title track but i hope it’ll grow on me when live stages start coming in… love these girls so bad
