Innocent is an exercise of Rainbow as a whole, being the first Rainbow album to be...actually good. All of the other albums have just burned away in the early 2010s, but this seemed to get it right, with catchy pop but not too poppy songs and some melancholy along the way with Bad Man Crying and Some More.
This album keeps a theme within it's tracks, and all of the b-sides except Privacy (which honestly should have been in Prism) have this kind of sad theme, which...yeah, I never expected ... read more
