What's expected from Neurosis in the great 26, atmospheric sludge at its peak. Everything is so heavy: the atmosphere, guitars with tons of weight and the percussion hitting very hard; it truly sounds like they're literally burning the world, very beautiful for the apocalypse.

God willing, another album about despair when everything else looks like it’s in ruins except the situation isn’t actually that fucked. That’s the tension. The whole thing is loud to drive home some kind of message, but the message itself? You’d need to be sitting down real calm to actually hear it.

Bitknot is pretty lofi, but with an edge of attitude or energetic rather; honestly, it sounds like there’s a ton of things happening behind all that wall of noise. I mean, it’s kinda cool that the album sounds like it was recorded in some random echo-filled garage. And yeah it is pretty typical of noise, but still cool regardless.
