Doesn't hit as hard as their later music, but they're are def bangers. My favorite moments would be the dark gothic bell in the beginning of your sweet six six six, the poppy and slamming kick in snare in wicked game, and the droning lead piano that bleeds into a beautiful pad on when love and death embrace.
I cant get over valos voice. He can literally say anything and it would have a heavy breathy weight to it.
Solid production. Can get quite redundant. This has big 2013 vibes.
Honestly this was a great listen. A mix of early 2000s r&b type vocals mixed with synthwave with great production helping to carry it.
It's a nice change up to the what you here in the mainstream of pop.
Well polished trip-hop album with velvety vocals that perfectly match the dirty vinyl fuzzed drums and an amazing scratch mix interlude.
Blood like lemonade the track is still one of my favorite trip-hop songs of all time. The production on that is so rich.
If you're looking for something that's similar to Portishead, this is a nice choice.
