this has to be their best album. even outside of the hit-songs, so many bangers. you can sense the amount of effort they put in this. you really can, lose yourself to dance, while listening to this. looking forward to revisiting this in the future
stop the j. cole hate. his earlier music used to speak to my soul, it still does sometimes. this on the other hand, is a little bloated. i think jermaine wanted to release all of what’s left from him since it’s his farewell album. bunce road blues and the villest are clear favourites of mine
my boy Zay capable of so much better than this. needed a lot more songs like m.o.m., boy in red and supaficial. still fire nonetheless, but was it worth the wait, im not sure. also, aren’t we getting a deluxe or sum?
300th review, and its only right that i'm reviewing exmilitary. what an album, so ahead of its time, much like all their other albums. also got to thank michael for putting this on spotify, truly a hero. while i don't like the two intermission tracks and skip thru the walls, the rest of the album is so full of energy and enjoyable, especially my favorite, known for it. unique work.
