VERY GOOD

I've never felt so indifferent about a single between 2 popstars. It lacks the power within the vocal performances to springboard it high enough but as for modern day duets go, its good. I kinda wish it was better.

The singles are VERY good. The rest of the album works. Production all around is solid. The highs are high (Cheerleader IS PEAK) and the lows are just interesting, not necessarily bad. I like it :)

EDIT: songs growing on me, very good. Mona Lisa and Perfect Pinterest Garden good.

this album is everywhere and not in a bad way. A Place Where Love Goes and Lithonia are masterpieces.

The chorus is more annoying than good. The verses are good. The power behind it all is good. Maybe I just dont like Chappell's voice and maybe thats just me.

This song utilizes her voice better than Espresso but no, I will not Jack Anton Off. Its fine.

This instrumental is so good why not take advantage of the good singers good voice too while you're at it. Lyrics dont do anything for me. Its just so uninspired.

This album is all over the place. Some of the songs are annoying, some of them are real heartfelt ballads, and some of them just don't do anything? Constantly from Chappell, I don't like her upper range. Some of the songs sound like its supposed to be a powerful empowering song and then they fall flat. Chappell Roan can 100% become the next big thing in pop. But what lacks in musicality, imo, is being carried by an infectious and seemingly genuine personality. Thats a damn good place ... read more

WHO IS THIS MUSIC FOR? The lack of depth in a majority of the songs could be fixed by not following the current convention of 2:30 length songs. shoutout to T Pain for Love on Hold I cannot believe he popped tf off on that song. What the hell is I Get It? I don't know if she even knows! My Score is the combined # of each track/10 note how there are 160 possible points and the rating only goes up to 100 and she still only gets 35!

Fun song! Not the most memorable single but its a good vibe for sure! The guitar and bass are great and the harmonica helps make this song feel light.

Rex Orange County has a good voice. This album as a whole has hits and misses.

This was the easiest number rating for an album that I listened to a lot to when it came out. The pop album is poppy and I like some of the songs.

Good Tracks: Happiness, Looking For Somebody (To Love), Oh Caroline, Wintering

The track ratings and critic ratings are so different it is very funny. Listening to this album as a white mid-20s male means I dont relate to most of these songs. So on vibes and replay-ability, its not an album for me but as an album for other demographics I can see why its good.

Songs I like listening to despite them not being for me: get him back!, bad idea right?, all-american bitch

I got nothing out of this album aside from the first two singles, How Dare You Want More and Stop making This Hurt.

My first saved album when I got spotify premium. That nostalgia will stick with me as well as failing a philosophy class my freshman year of college. It's a beautiful album tbh.
