"HADES" is melanie's most mature and impressive work to date. similar to K-12, it throws in a bunch of different concepts and ideas that have one thing in common: societal flaws - except this time, it feels purposeful rather than random. a concept album done (mostly) right.

the little twinkling synths in the production are soo fucking cool. the rest falls just a little flat
contains a few gems, but the lows can get pretty low. the production remains consistently incredible throughout the entire album
this is kate bush in her boldest, most unhinged, experimental and authentic form.
7/8 years old, listening to these songs on my mp3 player .. take me back
unfortunately the last 4 songs didn't hit as hard as the others, otherwise this rating would've been in the low 90s
torn, salt & sweet but psycho give me such uplifting nostalgia, but sadly some other generic tracks bring this album down quite a bit
remove half of the tracks and you've got yourself a solid album!
