Limbo is an album that's baffling to me. its constantly trying so much and has so many idea but it feels like it has a checklist of what it needs to do to feel avant-garde rather than let the songs form on their own and blossom into that high risk high reward song structure.

I've listened to this album maybe a dozen times in the last week. I FUCKING LOVE the sonic palette and how versatile Jean's vocals are and unique the instrumentals can feel genre wise. Jeans pre choruses are also just as catchy as his hooks it's wild
HOW DO YOU EVEN COME UP WITH SONGS LIKE THESE MAN. Everything changes so quickly and in such an interesting way and everything has an inherent sense of beauty to it. i really dont see anything better coming out this year.
This album is practically my favorite parts of Deftones but enhanced with even more electronic elements
while Chinos performances vary the even bigger jump into shoegaze does a lot for this album making it perhaps the groups most creative.
