This album is something incredible. The light was well worth the wait. Everything about this album is fine tuned and beautiful or grimey and hard and the difference in this makes it a wonderful package. This is more than brockhamptons best album this is one of the best albums I've heard this year. An Album That'll Love You Back
Avenade's 2023 effort "Our Raging God..." seems to serve as the artists most interpersonal and brutal work. Heavy riffs and devastating bursts of noise constantly put you into the artists headspace of grief and trauma. 2025's "Try Searching for a lover" acts in an opposing headspace. Limbo is an album that's baffling to me. its constantly trying so much and has so many idea but it feels like it has a checklist of what it needs to do to feel avant-garde rather than let the songs form on their own and blossom into that high risk high reward song structure.
