I like Miho Hatori, love her even, but this project was…
Really weak to say at the least, some songs sounded really boring to me, and were really forgettable.
The first half is indefinitely the weakest part of the album, with only one song I can really remember and enjoy (A New Moon) . Which is honestly sad to me because I really enjoy Miho Hatori so much, but it’s whatever, every artist has that weak spot in their discography.

Not bad, just average.

This is just trend hopping, she hopes she’ll get another hit since her schitck has lost its touch and hoo boy. She does this so horribly, the chorus (if you can even call it that) is just her repeating “I Love It!” Over and over in this high pitched voice that’s trying to encapsulate someone who makes hyperpop, and it gets tired QUICK for me, like really quick. She doesn’t have much ideas left and it really shows with the mess that we have to call a song.

I wasn’t feeling most of the tracks unfortunately, but what I liked I really did enjoy. She does her thing but I can’t get with it all of the way, maybe in the future I can enjoy this more.

This was really fun to listen to!! I have listened to Hakushi before with their ep Somoku Hodo, and was throughly pleased. This is another amazing project that I will definitely come back to in the future!

This is just a bit plain to me, I’ve heard other fat jon projects and I feel like this could be much better.

Don’t understand why this is so lowly rated. I see this as the unofficial MOTM3, although at this point in time, much after this has released, there’s a MOTM3. I see it (MOTM3) as very disappointing and a cash grab compared to this, which saddens me. The soundscapes on this album are very focused and crafted well, the features fit perfectly on the songs they are on (especially Andre 3000). I wish this wasn’t an EP, as every Daedelus project I’ve listened to, I’ve really enjoyed it! I believe this’ll be on my study/reading playlist too.

I just don’t like this, came in w an open mind but I can’t seem to even like much about it at all. I love punk music and related genres but this seems so dull to me, sorry.

Feels like a huge stream of consciousness, still very lovely.

I found this album because of the first track, ‘Vulture’, and I absolutely loved that track! I put off listening to this album for a while because I was busy with school n all but I got some time in to get it, and wow. This is really experimental and I don’t mind it at all, I love experimenting with different sounds. The only reason why I didn’t give it a higher rating is due to the first half being a bit weaker than the latter half.

I’ve already listened to this album multiple times but I’ve never wrote a review on it, although it’s in my favourite albums of all time.

This album feels like isolation, but in a comforting way. Tracks like ‘Adventress’ and ‘Muggle Born’ make me feel like I’m in a cabin in the middle of nowhere just watching nature and space go on with itself, getting old and never being tired of the sights, although I’ve always been there. This was an okay ep.

I hoped it would be better because I heard the best song on here, ‘Mies Van Der Rohe’ a while back. I think they could really be good if they progress their sound and lyrics farther than what it is with this project. If they’re still together (assuming it’s a group), then I hope they release something that progresses the sound past this.

The main thing I really wish was better was the production and some of the lyricism. The production feels like it really isn’t from Tyler, but from a producer that’s trying to be him, like I get that it isn’t supposed to be over the top because it’s mostly made to rap over and all but it doesn’t have *that* touch at all. Why did he do this? I knew it wasn’t gonna be good but damn it really isn’t.
I don’t mind Cudi going for trap and related genres but he makes it so boring without adding anything of his own style. It’s the main thing I saw missing in the original insano and this deluxe, it doesn’t have Cudi in it, this is something different. Theres a lot of things I can nitpick and I don’t mind enough to do so.

This was an okay album. The majority of songs were good but could be better if they hit a certain spot for me. When I was listening to the album, there was an empty spot for me. What kind of spot? I’m unsure what but I believe it has to do with the construction and pacing of the songs. If they had gone that far mile then I’d would give this a higher rating.
Favorite(s): Afternoon X, Lotus Eater
Least Fav: Lazy Garden

Sweet and cinematic album, would give it higher but I think some of the writing brings it down (also because I thought some songs were weaker, I’m basing my reviews off of the % of what I add to my playlist). I think with a little more improvements I think I can really get into this group’s sound.

Favorites: Prelude to Ecstasy, Caesar on a TV Screen, and Gjuha
