Don’t understand why this is so lowly rated. I see this as the unofficial MOTM3, although at this point in time, much after this has released, there’s a MOTM3. I see it (MOTM3) as very disappointing and a cash grab compared to this, which saddens me. The soundscapes on this album are very focused and crafted well, the features fit perfectly on the songs they are on (especially Andre 3000). I’ve finally made the decision to listen to this album again. And it was one if my best decisions ever. At first I didn’t like this album much, especially during first listen, maybe because I wasn’t prepared for it fully. Cool jazzstep album. Falls off in some bits at the end but the tracks that come before it make up for it heavily. I need more of this in my life!!
