Solid pop music! I actually love a lot of the songs here and think that Taylor Swift has a lot of charm and personality throughout 1989 that makes the album feel unique and enjoyable. Many bangers, lots of fun, not too much to complain about.
Solid return to form for Linkin Park though nothing I am in love with, just a handful of pretty solid and at times conceptual songs that if anything just lack some memorability.
It's whatever, honestly don't even remember much of the album I just know it sounds pretty good and definitely different for Linkin Park, but nothing I really love.
A HIGHLY conceptual album that I don't think anyone expected from Linkin Park. I honestly love the concept of this record and A Thousand Suns easily has some of Linkin Park's boldest, most experimental, and most interesting sonic elements out of any of their albums. This is great art-rock that I think unfortunately flies under the radar for many but I will not deny how amazing and well thought out it is.
A bit of a setback for Linkin Park but nothing egregiously bad. Minutes to Midnight is still home to some of Linkin Park's best, particularly the closer, though it feels like some of the passion and creativeness is lost here for the hopes of commercial success, which I don't love.
