The effects of war on soldiers and regular people, drug abuse and epidemics, pollution, bad economy, police brutality, racism, ALL addressed in one short 9 track (35 minute) album.
Even with all the criticism on the album, Gaye still finds room for two tracks where he calls upon us to unite as people and that, together, is always better.
