I've seen so much weirdly bitter discourse around this record so I wanted to come back here for my first review in awhile. I think it's a really sad reflection on culture when an artist, popular or not, actually makes an effort to be vulnerable and grow only to be met with a resounding "*insert snarky comment/joke critique here*". ouch. ive been listening to these guys for 12 years and boy does this feel final. it's clear here tyler is not happy, and that makes me deeply sad. i guess music isn't what brought him true happiness, so i hope he finds whatever it is that will. if this is the end of twenty one pilots, what a way to go.
strangely enough I don't think this comes close to Fear of The Dawn, still really good though.
some really good bangers, awesome flows, and pure swag mixed with a pinch of introspection.
