Hardly any effort was put into this. Half the tape is just other people songs including a 28 minute song of just one song. The other 3 are poorly mixed and decently chopped but the whole tape just feels lazy. There's nothing of substance in this. CPR has a cool beat but that's it.
Favourite Track: CPR
This is the only series I've heard from Charles so far where it gets better more than once. He raps with so much energy and amazing lyricism for the whole tape, the mixing is a lot better, and even his beat selection is better.
Favourite Track: Go Mom
It's definitely better than the first. The sound quality is grainy but it's mixed pretty good. Charles sounds pretty happy on this and it shows in his rapping performances on Keri Jergens and Shoo, Cat! especially. The beat selection of 9th wonder beat is also well thought out. They all have a similar sound.
Favourite Track: Keri Jergens
Really great mixing and the production is unreal. Like most of the anatomy series the beats are short loops but on this tape Charles adds a lot more layers to the loop giving a more full sound to the song and the whole tape. The whole sound of this tape is dark but calming and slow with really interesting percussion and experimental sampling and instrumentation. Charles' rapping is also amazing on this. He has great flows and bars consistently.
The creativity of this tape is why it ... read more
Very similar to The Heart of Charles Hamilton in the structure of the songs but the samples on this are more rock centered with Charles using a lot of classic rock songs as samples. Like The Heart of Charles Hamilton the beats are short loops with layers of Charles' own instrumentation and unique percussion. Except for the Chorus on Overdose ๐ญ, Charles' lyricism and flows are also consistently great for the whole tape which is impressive considering it's almost 77 minutes ... read more
This really shocked me on the first listen. The drums and chops are almost 2008 Charles like with very creative percussion and unique samples. BlackSelfEsteem is one of Charles' best songs he's made in recent years. Every song is consistently great with production. His rapping is also amazing with very high energy.
Favourite Track: BlackSelfEsteem
Amazing abstract production and creative flows and lyrics. It's very consistent with the sound of the late 2014 tapes. Pretty good choruses too. It's the tracklist itself is more inconsistent than other Dehamiltonization tapes but there are definitely high highs.
Favourite Track: Sacred or Scared, Scared & Sacred
I really enjoyed this. Charles is a great pianist as well know already and he shows off his creative skills in this. This is a very calm and artistic instrumental album. This is great for studying.
Favourite Track: VinylPop is the Sickest
And then they played 2pac
I'm guessing it's all pac beats which Charles flows effortlessly on. The mixing on his vocals are pretty good and fit the beats. The Ch swag and his versatile flow and lyrics really fit the 90s production. Only 22 minutes bimut still very good.
Favourite Track: So Excited
The rapping and singing kind of sloppy in some songs and the beats are mixed poorly for some of the tape but it's overall decent. The beats seem mixed poorly for the vocals. You can't really hear the intricacies of the beats because the percussion is either too high or his vocals are too high. NuGet Over It, Submission and Tell Me 2x have great beats though.
Favourite Track: NuGet Over It
The production on this is great. Songs like: Star Magic and NYSC (Outro) have Charles going crazy with his abstract sampling style. This is quite inconsistent though with some songs having quite discordant beats. Most of the tape is fire though. Charles raps well but his singing is a bit dodgy.
Favourite Tracks: Star Magic and NYSC (Outro)
I love the sound on this tape. He uses all sped up pitched up samples on this tape so all the beats are fast paced and exciting. Charles doesn't sound to bad and he actually sounds more energetic to go with the production. He sounds very good on this compared to other recent tapes.
Favourite Track: Hold U
Very similar to AsTheOuijaRocks. 4 songs with the same dark but energetic sound with great sampling and rapping. The quality of the songs on this tape are a bit worse though. The sampling on some songs are a bit repetitive but his rapping is still good.
Favourite Track: Borderline
This has got some weird sampling. I fw it though. There's something really interesting about the songs on this tape. He goes for this dark, mystical sound. The mixing helps this tape with that weird sound. The only way I can explain it is that the cover fits the music really well. Not great, but weirdly fun.
Favourite Track: WhatWeDo
Very chill beats with great mixing. Charles goes for a very simple sound but very effective. Short sample loops with his own instrumentation on top.. No lazy rapping either. This was a really enjoyable tape to listen to. Great energy in the production.
Favourite Track: High(er)
This was 1.7 GB. It's even longer than Catholic Illuminati: Infinite Psalms. Over 15 hours of the worst sampling I've ever heard. It sounds like someone sampling for the first time. All of the drums are horribly mixed and also sounds like someone's first fl studio beat. There are a few beats from other tapes which aren't bad but it's well over 15 hours of awful beats. The worst thing is the mixing isn't that bad, that's how bad the beats are.

He doesn't chop the samples that much on this, there is a lot of sonic samples though so he was probably trying to keep that sort of sound. The mixing is ok, the mixing quality seems to change a lot as of late. He raps pretty well on this though. He doesn't sound lazy at all.
Favourite Tracks: Know Your Limit and Save the Day
This is so good. It reminds me of CH/AB with it having someone else on production. Charles' rapping and singing is sort of sloppy in some parts but the lyricism is still there and he smooth simple sample chops from H2 fit his flow which makes up for it.
Favourite Track: Don't Talk Bad and Infamil pt. 2: Dig
He switches it up on sonic and uses only mario samples on this tape. He uses a lot of quick small chops of the samples and it does sound to crowded in some songs but in songs like Lonesome and Em, Seeing the samples fit the chops really well. He doesn't sound to lazy on this either.
Favourite Track: Lonesome (The Rest of Tonight)
As usual for these 3EM tapes, the mixing is awful. C. Young doesn't rap that bad here though and Charles' beats are quite catchy but still very distorted. Empyness Syndrome has an amazing mesmerizing beat worth listening too. This has made me realize how for C. Young has fallen. Honestly, I quite like the abstract sound in this.
