An album that actually deserves some hype. Far better than many of the albums ranked high on this site for 2025.
Some really nice moments but this album is way overrated and overhyped. To see people put this in their top 20 best albums could be excusable but so many #1s this album has for 2025 is weird and shows the internet is fried, clearly people dont want music to truly evolve, instead they want it to reflect stuff theyve already heard decades before. More noise.
Theres some gems in here. Nothing special though. Too many tracks.
some of the most sleepy and boring vocal performances ive heard all year. Read the lyrics to these songs. This is not good.
Strong charisma, production is hit or miss, few meaningful insights on this record and no real concept to speak of. Album is too long. Depends too much on basic vibe and not enough on composing great records.
I actually really like Ye's verse on this. One of his last strong performances.
