Three great songs. Very honest and designed just to make sense melodically . Seems to pull some inspiration from other genres and decades in terms of song writing. Ultimately the genre is cloud rap but this is actually really good and still unique. Production is tight. Would love to see Mario go more dramatic and evolve his compositions. Better than I thought it’d be. Enjoyable
Glitch is complete trash, but the second groove Pulse is actually pretty good and the best ai song i've heard so far.
I respect this project because at least he didnt try to make this a full album. It's brief, a subtle exploration into a alternative vocal tone. Solid production. The first song is good. It's nothing special but it isnt terrible at all.
I get the impression Jaden needs to spend time with more musicians and songwriters to really do the "surrealist" stuff he signals in the ep's title. The trap music is definitely an artistic limitation for him.
solid track with some interesting and unique design choices, a great mix but not great otherwise.
This album is incredible. I just have to give it a perfect score. the songs blend into each other so seamlessly, this album can be listened to on repeat back to back. it's calm, beautiful, humble, and very refreshing. It's like if an ambient album had lyrics and jazz pop vibe. No song is too long, the way the album just flows is really amazing. this is an album you must have in your daily rotation.
A bit like The Shining and Midsommar combined with a bit acoustic guitar and generic ambience. Not much is stellar but its therapeutic.
could work as decent background music at a chill evening social gathering. but not a enjoyable listen otherwise.
Rodeo Dr is pretty good though. and there are some one liners throughout the album that carry more humility than most of his contemporaries.
Kid Cudi has potential to make a great album, but this isn't it. Cudi generally has very good intentions, to make music that is vulnerable and bravely honest. The issue is that he consistently makes songs that dumb down and obstruct the few beautiful moments on the record. It seems like Cudi is less concerned with making a great, near perfect album, and most concerned about getting each of his feelings and ideas out to all of his fans.
For example, the intro, "Echoes of the ... read more
The version i found doesn't include the remixes and totals 4 tracks. This is really good. Sounds like Utopia.
