Amazing new album from Tyler, The Creator. This album explores Tylers personal life, including paranoia, love life, and other hurdles he has to or has had overcome. There are almost no skips, had it not been for judge judy and balloon
The first half was a little drawn out, perhaps if the first half of the album was shortened it would be better?
I also find the whole "Gen Z is after me" so weird - nobody is trying to cancel you, Eminem... I understand that the whole being offensive and saying offensive things in the songs is on purpose, and part of the concept, however that doesn't make it any less corny, that just makes it a bad concept. I find the second half of the record more refined and mature, but still ... read more
A very lovely record, that tkes a step back from the dramatic and theatrical albums like Igor and Flowerboy. You can tell that that Tyler was genuinly having fun when making this, and it's very high quality.
Underrated album from Kendrick Lamar. I didn't listen to this album until earlier this year but it was absolutely a great listen and another top album from Kendrick.
The album is filled with many hits, but i don't find it as captivating as other records by Kendrick Lamar. However, this is still a very good album that still lives up to the high standard that Kendrick always delivers with his few records.
Its good but not as instrumentally captivating as to pimp a butterfly
Kanye explores a new sound again, and hits it on the mark. The album balances controversial lyrics, danceable bangers and more emotional songs perfectly and engages the listener very well.
Kanye did it again and switched up his sound. Very well made and inspiring. At first i didn't really like it, and it took me a few listens before i warmed up to it, but now i see how genius this is.
A very emotional album, that changed the game and paved way for the new sounds present in hip hop today. The album is not perfect and some songs like "Robocop" feel odd and off. The record is still very well made though, and one of my personal favorites from Kanye West
He made graduation. He made graduation. He made graduation. He made graduation. He made graduation. He made graduation. He made graduation. He made graduation. He made graduation. He made graduation. He made graduation. He made graduation.
This is probably Kanyes most overlooked record. The songs here are well-made and just awesome.
Probably Kanye West's best album, despite it being his first. The album is filled with soul-samples that are brilliantly chopped and flipped, interesting melodies, and Kanye West is performing with peak hunger and drive.
Very brilliant album thaat features unique sounds and rhythms. There is not a single bad song on this album, and each song serves their own purpose in the concept story that develops throughout the record. Absolutely genius.
Very mediocre album. It would have been better to scrap this album and put the best songs on the "We don't trust you" instead. But the album is not criminally bad, and i still find myself playing some of the songs here and there.
Pretty good album. Some few misses here and there and some songs stretch out a little too much, but still very much a solid album.
This album introuced me to J. Coles music and is a very tasteful and well executed album
