Words could not enhance this album. I think the only technique i have to talk about why this album is an 100 is with my real world experiences. I have a girlfriend, one whom i love more than the world we both reside in. I am the happiest i have ever been when i am with her and i just get happier the more we talk. This album is about death. The death of the one closest to you, and the aftermath of that death. I do not and hope never to understand this album through personal experience, but this ... read more
How can you describe this album? It's baroque. Some songs are so moving and beautiful, Lausse's story telling is beautiful, almost poetry with how subtle and subdued some of the instrumentals are yet they are so purposeful. The cover of this album paints to you how this album will sound and what its meant to look like and i'm so glad. Its fun, its antique yet new. Never have I heard an album like this yet all I want is more. I love it's theatrics, all I want from it is a bit ... read more
This albums incredible. That album cover has been stuck in my head for weeks alone but the actual album is so powerful and consistently strong. I love the long songs that maintain the tension and power and atmosphere the entire way through. This album is never weak, but it has its slow periods. Bloodsport took some time to truly grow on me but it preps you for the album ahead.
Top 3:
Look Down on Us - THEY LOOK DOWN ON US. Need more said? This songs powerful, meaningful and beautiful.

WE all love this album. Danny brown has made top 3 album of the year and its by innovating his sound into an entire new genre. Those quadeca features are generational and that ISSBROKIE feature is ADDICTING. Underscores you are the love of my life for your performances.
Top 3:
Starburst (addicting and so experimental and those verses fed me this year)
All4U (incredible outro)
What You See (i love you quadeca bbg)
Genuinely you could place most songs in this top 3 it is heavily contested by ... read more
THIS IS A MAJOR SHORT TEMP REVIEW BECAUSE I HAVENT FORMULATED OR BEEN BOTHERED TO WRITE A FULL REVIEW YET. THERE WILL BE BARELY ANY STRUCTURE OR LIKE COHESIVE VIEWS.
This album deserves a long review of mine at some point for sure I just can't be fully bothered to at this moment and I don't want to delay this review any longer. Okay lets get started. This album is flawless. From it's production, performances, lyrics, features, concept or ANYTHING. This album grows so much on you ... read more
I'll make a long review if i remember but here's a brief overview of my thoughts:
This album is incredible. The jazzy instrumentals are some of my favourite from any hip-hop album, the production was truly out-done on this album. Mckinley has fast-paced, high-action rapping mixed with slow, painfully emotional sections that make me feel as if I just lost someone close to me. This album's message and concept is beautiful, this album didn't jump out to me at first as this ... read more
This album. OOOOOH this album. Holy I cannot structure this review. I might, I don't know. I am writing this in a feverish state because i finally remembered to write reviews. Okay so this album as of june 14th is my favourite album of 2025. This album is AMAZING. I dont know how long this review will be. I will just write for a while. We will see.
Okay so this album is my first experience with both John Michel and Anthony James, and will I ever be keeping up with their careers for the ... read more
This album is PHENOMENAL all the way through. On my first listen I knew it was great but thought "I'm not sure if I'm on the level of others calling it one of the best of the decade" and then my second listen hit and that opinion changed. Don't expect completely coherent writing in this review as its ~3am as I write this opening. Take my love in the form of opinions of music and accept it in the form it arrives in. That form is overly long reviews of music. ... read more
WHAT IS BELOW IS MY OLD REVIEW FROM FIRST LISTEN: AT THE END I WILL ATTACH MY THOUGHTS AS OF NOW !!!
Was not expecting to enjoy this album as much as I did but here we are. First full gangsta rap album I had listened to and was a really good first experience for it. This is a long review as I found myself able to talk a lot more than some previous reviews.
Themes and Concept:
This album focuses mostly on 50 cent's personal experience with starting from the bottom and becoming successful, ... read more
Oh wow an artist similar to frank ocean theres no way i would enjoy it riiiiight. Yeah noooooo way theres zero way i would never like their album surely not nooo way.
Well yes way because i love slow rnb are you kidding. Anyways not a long review again cause i dont have tooons to say but basically
Really nice mixtape with a general theme of losing love and trying to gain it back. Generally a basic rnb concept but i'm not complaining. Everyone has their own view and opinions on each ... read more
Honestly really enjoyed this album, only going to give massive long reviews for albums I really love or have a lot to say about however this EP is not one of them. I fuck with this style of hip hop heavily so im massively biased when I say that I really enjoyed this EP.
I find problems mainly in the lack of cohesive concept and theme, giving the EP no real theme to hook onto and develop through its story. Another issue that I found was the album sounding quite similar throughout, most of the ... read more
This album is unbelievable. A true masterpiece of storytelling. Each song on this album is placed with care and purpose. Every track has meaning behind it and tackles with a difficult issue. Unlike some albums more focused on the message portrayed through the music, this project has unbelievable replayability and is perfectly concise, using every song to its fullest.
Themes and concept:
The themes of this album are relatively broad as almost every song covers a separate issue from the last, ... read more
