Literally torn wide open by this album. It gets better with each listen. I understand why this album is rated so high. Listening to this album is such an overwhelming experience. I was intrigued by the song lengths (most songs span between 8 to 10 minutes with the final one spanning 16 minutes!). Not my favorite genre but when it slaps it slaps. Mesmerizing beats with engaging synths and those perfectly fitting vocal lines make it such joy to listen to because it is done so well. I found it too bad that after "YES GOD" the album was sounding a bit too repetitive and a little boring (luckily $T.LOSER upped the energy level), because the first half of the album is filled with bangers.
This is a huge step forward for Yonaka! I have always been intrigued by Yonaka's music, because I felt that there was some special spark in their combination of heart-felt lyrical themes and pop-rock music, that match the lyrics very well in mood. However I always felt like they themselves could not exhaust 100% of their amazing ideas and put them into just as amazing executions. But on this album they came closer than ever before.
