Diamond Eyes is my favorite album from Deftones. I’ve gone back and forth on whether I prefer this album over White Pony or not. White Pony is great and experimental as far as nu-metal albums go, but I’ve always been more of a fan of Deftones' heavier side. I love music that sounds like it is from a particular era. When it comes to a band like My Chemical Romance, I have heard people say that Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys sounds much more dated than The Black Parade. While I agree, I do not see that as a bad thing. The fact that people even view that as a negative thing kind of surprises me.
