simultaneously overstuffed with too many ideas and severely lacking in any interesting ones, a lot of the material that composes the album either feels like half-baked leftovers from prior records or occasionally really off putting genre-fusions. on top of that the mix isn't great either. i do love the wacked out psychedelic edge a lot of the songs go for, heading in more prog rock directions in how they evolve; but they just never paid off as well you'd hope.
