Logged back on to this inactive account just to review this album. Yes, it's that serious. I already knew this album would be great from the five singles that preceded it but wow, this is definitely album of the year. The tracklisting is a little bit odd and I don't like the fact that the five singles are the first five songs on the album, but that can be forgiven with how good this album is. I don't think anyone will surpass this album for a while, and this might be ... read more
This is a long listen, but it's definitely worth the 1 hour and 13 mins. One of the main problems of Willoughby Tucker, though, is that it's heavily frontloaded. Never listened to Sega Bodega but I was interested in this EP when I saw that it had a collaboration with Poison Girl Friend. The two 10s on this album are "Black Stone" and "In My Room". The songs "z" and "Prayer At The Dinner Table" are just fine, they're a little bit boring though.
Wow... This is actually song of the year material. I wasn't planning on tuning into "Fancy That" but this song made me change my mind
