I dont get the hate. I understand this album i probably not what most people anticipated, but i absolutely adore it. The production is certainly more minimalist and raw, but that is not the problem. People wanted OOEPU 2 and didnt realize the fact that SOPHIE is sadly not here to fully complete her vision for these tracks. A promise is an album of sorrow,
An album of pure emotion and hope.
It's an album that makes you feel weak and small.

This mix is an astoundingly diverse piece of music with tracks from DJ's all around the world. From the slow, heavy French techno to exhaustingly fast and draining USA ... read more
One of the first jungle albums I've heard and one of the most enjoyable albums too. It is difficult to describe in words how pleasant it is to listen to this album, it has so much charm and soul. Sumo samples and Japanese singing give this album so much warmth and atmosphere. My music perception would be drastically different without this album. Listening to sumo jungle once again i can easily say that this album does not dissappoint and still has that amazing atmosphere I remember it having. ... read more
