it kind of goes without saying that disco volante is a one of a kind album. yes, it is purposefully disjointed, but what often gets overlooked (at least from what ive seen in the reviews) is just how intricate it all really is. i still rarely see people discuss the finer details hidden throughout this album, so thats why i want to throw in my two cents
one of the biggest reasons i appreciate this album so much is the vocal arrangements. its no secret that mike patton has an absolutely insane ... read more
if this album ended with hearts alive, it would have one of the best conclusions to any album ever. joseph merrick feels completely out of place and so mediocre that it PISSES ME OFF!!! that said, it doesn’t stop me from revisiting this album every few months. incredibly consistent, with some of the best metal songs ever
been following these guys for a while now. pleasantly surprised by how good this is. nothing too deep, but every song hits. very consistent. wish the songs were expanded and more fleshed out because this had the potential to be truly phenomenal. crossing my fingers for their next project
if i’m being honest, i’m kind of against this mixtape’s existence. i was more or less forced into making it due to many, many requests. it kinda goes against the already brittle artistic vision i had for the title tracks... but it doesn’t really matter
even though i think it doesn’t work nearly as well outside of the album context, people seem to be happy with this one, apparently. still, it’s missing the spoken word passages and transitions, which are an ... read more
i think this is by far the worst dj don agge project. looking back, i have no idea what i was doing when making any of these songs. even from the start, this was just a random collection of tracks for an already weirdo alias, and it hasn’t aged well at all. at least the intro is still pretty funny—especially if you know what it’s referencing.

letting this be my 2000th rating because its my favourite single ive released under the dj don agge alias. me and dj 3j snapped on agge five stars. wont hesitate to enamour this one, im quite proud of it
genuinely one of the best closers ive heard. been obsessed with it for a few days now
probably the best example of a "if you get it, you get it" album. not really one where you pick out favourites and least favourites, but more of an experience meant to be taken in as a whole. some parts admittedly drag a little, but never too too much so that it takes away from the overall impact
how did i forget to rate this??? this was my obsession for like half a year
saw them live with @vivadude_alt and we met jamie and he signed my vinyl. my life is complete
after 2 years since my first listen, i have finally connected with this album on a spiritual level
what sets this album apart from anything else ive heard is the sheer rawness of it. it feels interdimensional, alien, yet somehow completely natural. thats the best way i can describe it. it sounds so deeply human, but at the same time, its so different and far removed from other music like it
this isnt an album you just play in the background. this isnt an album where you decide which ... read more
