Harry Gregson-Williams - Gladiator II
70

Now we are free is still such a masterpiece and it stands out against all the others on this soundtrack.

Architects - Holy Hell
95

Their best so far. Must be so hard for them to play these live, mostly due to the stuff the band went through. Respect

Tremonti - The End Will Show Us How
60

As much as I love Tremonti's voice and Alter Bridge, I can't seem to fully focus through a Tremonti record. Most of the times I lose interest about halfway the records.

This is no different. There is no doubt that his voice is good and that he knows how to play guitar. As a whole, it's just more of the same. It's good,, but it's not special, most of the time there are some standout tracks but that's it.

Genesis - Foxtrot
95

A flower?! Man this album is so good. A 25 minute epic in Supper's ready.

Genesis - Selling England by the Pound
100

Can not describe how much I love this record. This is peak Genesis for me, and I would have loved to see them live in this era. Lot's proclaim the lamb as their greatest but for me this is the one.

The Pineapple Thief - Last To Run
78

A lot of these songs are better than the ones on their last record, which was only released a couple of months ago.

Brothers Of Metal - Fimbulvinter
65

I had high expectations for this record. The power metal x Norse mythology is a sweet spot for me. However, I feel slightly disappointed after listening to this record. It feels more of the same and quite boring. I'm sure it'll grow on me once I dive deeper in the lyrics though.

Bongloard - DYTYR?
86

this slaps!

Planet Of Zeus - Afterlife
70

Not that special but very solid rock album. Nice rifs and vocals, you don't need much more on your average saturday morning.

Real Friends - Blue Hour
82

This record, I became friends with Real Friends. This put them on my map and I'm curious to discover more. Love the raw thing in his vocal cords.

Kalandra - A Frame Of Mind
95

Kalandra continues their remarkable journey on their second album. Just like the line, this record brings you peace, however there are some darker, more angry elements. As the band told, this music can be harder, because the world we live in is not the same as when the line was released.

I love this band so much, they never miss and they have everything. Hopefully I can see them live with the outstanding record under their wings. Score will probably increase, the more I listen!

Various Artists - A Whole New Sound
70

Great, now I want a Pop-punk Disney movie!

JPEGMAFIA - I LAY DOWN MY LIFE FOR YOU
73

Not my type of genre but I see why this scores so high. I enjoyed it but not sure that I will listen to it again.

Ovrfwrd - There Are No Ordinary Moments
72

A tad too long but there are some great prog sounds on here. If they channel their energy in shorter songs and make them differ more, this could've been a great record.

MEER - Wheels Within Wheels
94

Oh god this slaps, I don't know where I found them, but there name sounded familiar. Glad I decided to listen to this record.

Falling In Reverse - Popular Monster
62

It better then all the 0 reviews, but they shot themselves in the foot by releasing so much singles. Album doesn't sound like a coherent one, more like random songs pilled together on one record

Orville Peck - Stampede
88

I have way too much fun listening to this

Ramin Djawadi - House of the Dragon: Season 2
83

HBO should crown this man. Just as with the lesser GOT seasons, this man can make a mediocre season shine. Hats off to him, one of the greatest composters of our era. This soundtrack is stunning and has some great pieces, it's are how perfectly they blend with the world he helped to create. I can't imagine someone else scoring a GOT project.

Opeth - Orchid
70

Speaking of a solid debut. Totally not the sound I was expecting.

However, the record still has a complete and very modern sound ( listened to the 2023 Abbey Road remastered).

Looking forward to what's next and to discover their evolution.

Powerwolf - Wake Up the Wicked
74

Is this the same Powerwolf, yes.
Does this something we've never seen before? No
Is this fun, yes.

Solid powermetal album.

On Ferroh's review of Sleep Token - Take Me Back to Eden
"I Don't agree with this one. Especially, this has nothing to do with metalcore. They are a progressive band that try to mix certain genres. Does it always work, no, but there are reeally good songs on this one. And I'm sure they are ahead of their time with this one"
On Ferroh's review of Prins S. En De Geit - partijtje
"Je review is goed geschreven, als je ze ooit live kan zien kan ik je dat alleen maar aanraden. Ze praten het allemaal heerlijk aan elkaar, en ze maken het ook altijd iets vettiger live :)"
