McKinley Dixon - Beloved! Paradise! Jazz!?
96

Yo tpab who? (im sorry.)

Thank you fifa 25 for bringing me this music taste altering generational album. In my opinion the base that all jazz rap artists should strive to meet, incredible song after incrredible song not a single miss. Hanif Reads Toni is incredibly eerie - Sun I Rise, Dedicated to Tar Feather and Beloved Paradise Jazz the song are beautiful - Run Run Run, Live from the kitchen table and Tyler forever are amazingly rapped - The Story so Far is one of the best story telling ... read more

Those vocals 👅

Niko B - dog eat dog food world
86

This album is just really fucking fun honestly, the british slang the great vocals for most choruses and the occasional deep topics making the best songs off the album. Of course i know of Niko B from FIFA and why's this dealer so I decided to give his album a chance, happy I did. The obscure references, the bullshit bars, it really is just vibes. Production wise the piano across the entire album stood out to me as someone who doesn't really care much for this type of stuff.

My stand ... read more

Garrett Sparrow - RAMBO

Gotta call it what it is, Frank Ocean fucking dropped. This album feels like Nikes, Self Control repeated for 10 songs with the intro being the sequel to Good Guy but I can't lie i've been NEEDING this. It's very good filler, I could say; it's not something you've never heard before but it isn't repetitive either. Some more rap features could've helped to been good cause both SOFTIE and TAKE PICTURES are in my top 5 but I do realize that isn't the point ... read more

Elcamino - Gold Bricks 2
75

Idk y'all I kinda really liked this album 😓

I haven't been a long time listener of elcamino but I discovered him recently with They Spit On Jesus, so this is my second impression of him. Of course its a short album (17 minutes is not enough) but it has some really great songs.

Particularly my stand outs are So Long, with the incredible vocals and Snakes In The Grass with the lyrics; "I had to kill a n***a that I love and it hurts, cause he broke the code and that feeling ... read more

Some of y'all don't listen to the fucking music

Personally one of my favourite albums of 2020 (not a great year, music included) it's Jack Harlow not being actually ass.
Since I don't have much to say on the album as a whole I'll go through the songs

Common Ground - Chill Intro, like the vocals. Jack Harlow is so good at story telling you can see this throughout the album
They Don't Love It - Why the Eminem diss, you aren't like that. Good song ... read more

JPEGMAFIA - I LAY DOWN MY LIFE FOR YOU
85

After having first listened to it at the start of my Music obsession (September-October 2024), I'd completely ditched its songs except JPEGULTRA simply because I forgot about it. Now, I've revisited and it's an extremely solid album, and maybe one of my favourite produced ones ever

From the one liners specifically in the intro, vulgar display of power, JPEGULTRA and PROTECT THE CROSS in the Directors Cut to the incredibly hard beats of SIN MIEDO, JPEGULTRA (you can see why I ... read more

Kendrick Lamar - DAMN.

Kendrick best shi by far im not even gonna sugarcoat it lmao we got yah feel pride humble lust xxx fear duckworth in one album n i hear mfs talm bout sum section 80 better than damn smd son. Only miss was loyalty and a big ass miss at that if this album didn't have loyalty i'd lowk give it a 94

Favs: Fear, Duckworth, Pride

Least Favs: Love, God, Element

Dogshit: Loyalty

Kendrick Lamar - good kid, m.A.A.d city
91

If you want straight quality no lows no highs this ur album. On average? Kendricks best album. What makes it 3rd in my ranking? Just doesn't have the highs that TPAB and DAMN. have outside SAMIDOT.

Favs: SAMIDOT, Money Trees, Real

Least Fav: none i acc js cant pick one

Saba & No I.D. - From the Private Collection of Saba and No I.D.
87

The Private Collection might have a good stake for my second favorite from Saba's catalogue behind the unbeatable Care For Me. Amazing intro with some of my favourite feature artists in the likes of BJ The Chicago Kid and Eryn Allen Kane and great outro with the chill a FEW songs. No ID does incredibly with the beats, head.rap honestly being my favourite song of 2025 and in my top 15 songs of ALL time. Bonus note, this album was released right on my birthday; it was the best gift I got, so ... read more

wish i could add a rating, time after time would be 96/100

WOAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I HATE CARS I HATE STREETS I HATE STEERING WHEELS

Jean Dawson - Pixel Bath
84

Pixel Bath is a childish album in all the right ways, boisterous, energetic and all round great just to make you want to paint the ceiling red with Power Freaks and the fucking masterpiece which is Pyrotechnics. Honestly can't find a miss on this album,

My favourite songs are Triple Double, '06 Burst and Pyrotechnics with honorable mentions to Dummy, Starface*, Policia, Power Freaks and Devilish (which btw is a fucking banger of an intro)

Playboi Carti - MUSIC
70

Most of the only good songs are the ones with features, TOXIC being my personal favourite.

Actually good songs: CRUSH, RATHER LIE, TOXIC, GOOD CREDIT, WAKE UP F1LTHY, COCAINE NOSE, OLYMPIAN, TWIN TRIM.

Honorable Mentions: POP OUT, EVIL J0RDAN, WE NEED ALL DA VIBES, I SEEEEEE YOU BABY BOI

the rest are ahh ngl

Daniel Caesar - NEVER ENOUGH
88

The ratings on this album are actually fucking atrocious I'm shocked. Won't write much for it I'm pissed about the song scores.

Disillusioned is like one of the best R&B songs ever, Homiesexual makes me want to dig in my hb, every song on the album is tremendous except like Vince Van Gogh.

Saba - CARE FOR ME
89

Fucking incredible album, goosebumps on every song I don't know how Saba does it, gets better after every relisten. If Saba had more traction this album would be generational. SO many songs you could honestly call perfect, BUSY/SIRENRS, PROM/KING, LIFE, SMILE, FIGHTER and HEAVEN ALL AROUND ME are. And the rest of the songs aren't to be slept on either, like GREY and CALLIGRAPHY. You can forget chance the rapper though.

My favourites on the album are Fighter because of the ... read more

Kanye West - Graduation
86

Good mood booster of an album, honestly. Almost every song could be a soundtrack for a moment in your life. Good morning is iconic, Champion and Stronger give you confidence, Everything I am and I wonder make you grateful, Homecoming and Can't Tell me Nothing give you arrogance. My personal favourite of the album is Flashing Lights, honestly my favourite of Kanye's music, it's so transcending of a song and just gives me memories of listening to it with my friends for the first ... read more

Kanye West - The College Dropout
87

Not much to say, incredible incredible album. Hit after hit with some of the grooviest he has, as a debut album it's generational. I could barely make a tierlist but my standouts are We Don't Care, Slow Jamz and Spaceship with my personal favourite, by far, being All Falls down with the incredible vocals by Syleena Johnson

BoyWithUke - Lucid Dreams
68

Honestly, not that good. Compared to all his old projects this is his weakest so far, a lot of songs are forgettable or just sound like unseasoned chicken, not that it doesn't have good moments. Migraine, Problematic and Bad Blood are solid intro tracks with Bad Blood making it into my top 3 on the album, Trauma is a really good story song and Nightmare is just vibey. All in all though, my favourite has to be Lucid Interlude, it's short, catchy and i like the instrumental
