A kaleidoscopic collection of songs with a deep roster of features, NEVER ENOUGH is a cohesive display of genre experimentation that cements Caesar's place as one of the smartest and most talented artists in today's constantly mutating R&B pantheon.

β€˜NEVER ENOUGH’ feels like the quintessential Daniel Caesar album: equally experimental and not, this is a body of work which highlights his famed vocals, feels perfectly produced and guides listeners through the hazy uncertainty of love and loss whilst still offering something fresh and clean.

HipHopDX

Never Enough functions as a break-up album, but it also marks a redemption arc for a flawed man with equally flawed views to make a case at proving he’s matured.

Pitchfork
The Canadian R&B singer’s sleepy, erratically experimental third album proves that good old-fashioned love songs and heartbreak ballads are still his strong suit.

AllMusic
Hopefully he doesn't become so disenchanted that he stops making open, messy, and fascinating albums such as this one.

I think the present owner fixed it up
I never knew we ever went without
The second floor is hard for sneaking out
And this is where I went to school

I must've done it half a dozen times
I wonder if it's too late
Should I go back and try ... read more

thanks for the recommendation @RickTrademarked (WEEK #7: we're recommending each other 5 albums every week)

This album's first half starts off pretty strong, but towards the latter half it gets kinda boring for me. Still a good album though.
