one of those projects i wish i could rate higher bc pieces of it’s aesthetics click so well with what i’m writing. unfortunately it’s a little generic outside of it’s stunners & fantastic album cover. amberwood is crazy tho.

"truth nuke tbh - my biggest thing with the deluxe is how quickly it abandons it’s catchiest passages rather than more closely building off that core throughout the song like Half Blood did (what is the first minute of toxic doing for the song? why does paint a picture sound like 3 stitched together 30 second demos of the same song idea?). appreciate that it’s a double album but most of it’s allure comes from being a disc 2 companion giving greater context to the album slayr should be known for (as of rn). it’s a playground for experimentation and growing pains while preserving the original polished record."
