Starpeggio continues Suisei and Taku’s brilliance. With fun and energetic production throughout, Starpeggio shines throughout. Is it better than Specter? Hell yes. Better than Overture? Almost. But I appreciate the variety in this album. The singles really shine more than the other songs in the album, but the highlights are pretty much every song. Overall an excellent sophomore album from this dynamic duo.

n-buna and Suis do it again, making one of the most fun albums in their already impressive discography. n-buna’s exquisite production and composition mixed with Suis’ vocals are just top notch in the J-Pop landscape. Additionally, Haru is one of the best anime openings ever.

Absolute gem of a song from Suisei to cap off her dream performance at Budokan. Despite her somewhat lackluster new album, she shines bright in this one for sure. Her beautiful voice with these emotional lyrics is a love letter to those who believed in her and her will to not give up her journey into eventual stardom. Love to Suisei and her dreams of being an idol, becoming a reality.
My beloved VTuber Idol returns with a 3rd LP and it’s only a bit better than her last. With singles that are obviously meant to get the general J-Pop scene going like BIBBIDIBA, she’s going more corporate with her sound which is parallel to Hololive going public as a company.
Hard to say if Suisei can ever top the sound that came from her debut album “Still Still Stellar” which had Suisei’s artistry really shine through the most in my opinion (aside from her ... read more
