I think I cried a little bit at the final track. Amazing amazing fantastic production, full of bangers like out of my mind and faceeater. There isn’t a single track that really falters, although some of them are a biiit more forgettable (cough cough centerfold). My personal favorites were definitely wish u were here, faceeater, mold, and dissipate (which had a new verse with some fun delivery) just for their production and memorability. ALSO this album’s emotional moments really ... read more
The same three guitar loops. The same three Eminem ass flows. The same three lukewarm ass bars. WHO TF IS THIS BECAUSE ITS CERTAINLY NOT JPEGMAFIA
ooooohhhh I really want to give it a higher score but it just loses a touch of steam towards the end. Banger tho and only 1 skip which is great. Makes me want to check out his other music so yeah good job
Honestly he’s become one of my favs recently and I’ve only listened to like 1 and a half albums of his so I’m excited
I feel bad rating this because I like both of them so much, but it just feels like they’re phoning it in especially with how many songs there are, it just feels replaceable. Like 3 listens in I could barely remember more than like 4 songs.
Where Kendrick scream at???
Really great foray into pop with the highlight easily being the production. I had fun and if you didn’t that’s ok.
I guess U didn’t really need to be there.
Pretty much no consistency, and when it is good the tracks aren’t long enough to build or say anything. And that’s when it’s not just being straight up mid. Solid lyricism but like that’s his whole discog especially with Armand Hammer so coming here for that is pretty pointless save for a few standout tracks.
Great production, great vocals, but why god why must you hit us with those beautiful first 5 tracks and then slowly decline into sleepy white man noises with some half baked synths that you picked up from uhh idk a fuckin ball pit. And also why is Obsession so short.
I did like the chemistry with the band a lot and the vocals were stunning, but it just felt a bit heavy handed at times. Also the interlude (Disclaimer; and dope shit is lowk just an intro) absolutely did not need to be there.
TiaCorine is the best part of this album and it’s very much not close. Zel lowkey fades into the background and I barely remember the other features besides Juicy J and uhh I guess I liked BK. Asap Ferg is here too. The production is fun at best and boy does it get forgettable at worst. I had to listen to this an extra two times just to remember what the fuck the difference was between the last two tracks. Compare this to the 2010 movie the Social Network (stfu this is my best analogy ... read more
It hurts not to give this a ten because I love this so fucking much but I know it’s flawed. Still my AOTY unless some insane shit happens also why don’t people like the god of lying that shit slaps
no wonder it’s called the blue album because it was COOKED IN A FUCKIN METH LAB. I don’t think I’ve ever heard something this refined and maybe that says more about me than it does about this. Still perfect and I will stand by that.
