It went everywhere but it never got lost.

I'm maybe too much of a sucker for his first album because I find myself having mixed feelings about this second one.
I hear the maturity he brought in this new release, he grows with his music and the messages he wants to tell with it have obviously evolved too.
But I miss the high energy that 'Tell Me About Tomorrow' was completely filled of.
It's far from being a bad album, I'm the one being stucked in the past when it comes to my exceptations on his music.

I'm afraid I was a victim of my own exceptations.

'I LUV IT' embodies a perfect mix of 2012-14 nostalgic sound and the current hyperpop trends, this song alone made me sooooo hyped for this album.
But it sounds messy or unfinished? It didn't go deep into the concept that was teased through the pre-releases in my opinion. It feels like she only scratched the surface of what she wanted to do.

Happy early 10th anniversary to one of the best K-pop groups ever created! A decade of excellent music and this new mini-album is no exception to that.
SMEnt. can be messy in MANY areas when it comes to Red Velvet management, but their A&R Team never disappoints me.
'Cosmic' gave me a ride, sometimes upbeat sometimes dreamy, through our solar system (probably after our last summer day on this planet?).
