RM's gimmick on this mixtape is that it actually functions as a playlist, with each individual track having its individual spotlight. This works well only slightly more than it intricately fails.
Focus, and consistency. These two words can either push a project to succes or weigh it down with filler. Either everything sounds the same, or it sounds pleasantly cohesive. Here RM's record is the latter, it's cohesive and moody, but never boring. From a songwriting perspective its very successful, each track is exciting and is able to find its way into your head.
