I'm not very fan of this type of rock, but the album is nice. I discovered it because of asphalt legends.
Actually I expected a much worse album, but Ken Topham is just a beast and makes magic (Not better that More Skin With Milk-Mouth)
It just brings back memories of one of the best eras in my life. Lowkey miss that
Hot take, but I prefer 10,000 days over lateralus and AEnima. Maybe because this album mostly introduced me to TOOL and it's one of my all time favorite albums.
Tool’s Lateralus is a monolithic exploration of consciousness, rhythm, and emotional depth, encapsulating the band’s most ambitious creative vision to date. The album fuses progressive metal with philosophical introspection, demanding not only passive listening but immersive engagement.
The sonic architecture of Lateralus is strikingly intricate. Tracks like “Schism,” “Parabola,” and the title track are masterclasses in dynamic tension and release, ... read more
An album that is both haunting and exhilarating in its exploration of dark, industrial soundscapes. This album is a landmark in the genre, blending abrasive electronic beats, powerful guitar riffs, and deeply introspective lyrics. The emotional rawness and intensity of The Downward Spiral make it one of the most compelling listens in alternative music history. I love that this album feels like and endless track.
Trent Reznor's songwriting is as bleak as it is brilliant, taking listeners ... read more
Tame Impala's Currents is an absolute masterpiece. From start to finish, the album takes you on a captivating journey through rich, atmospheric sounds that blend electronic, psychedelic, and funk and a little of rock influences. It’s now firmly in my top five albums of all time, a rare gem that I can’t get enough of.
What stands out most is how smooth and seamless the transitions are between tracks, creating a feeling of continuous flow. The production is flawless, and the ... read more
One of the best Mexican rock albums I ever heard, not the oldest or most classic band, but it has something new that hits every time you hear this album. Without a doubt I have this in my top 10 albums of all time. I admit I don’t like all tracks, but I can’t stop hearing the ones I liked
I actually hate long songs but I wanted to try this album because I was really hyped because a friend of mine told me this was a great album (shoutout to Andriu) he told me that I wouldn’t like this album because of the very long songs. However I got my headphones on, and started listening in.
Very weird experience at first, didn’t really like it, but when the middle of the first track came, my perception changed completely and I continued analyzing the album with close ... read more
Why is it so poorly ranked in this page? I genuinely love this masterpiece album, it started and ended and era in rock/funk music. It has recognizable themes and although is many people’s start in rock community, it was, is and will always be a classic. I know there are some boring tracks in it, but it is mostly a great album
