While Lil Uzi was releasing his version of "WLR," Travis Scott was working on his version of "Donda." This thing is extremely bloated with tracks ranging from some of Travis's best to some of his absolute worst. I certainly don't hate the project but where I could see "Pink Tape" growing on me I really only see "Utopia" waning over time with me. To highlight some positive aspects the first two tracks are a great high energy intro to the album. "I KNOW" is very lowkey and throws me back to "I Can Tell" off "Rodeo" which is great. 21 begins his quest to save to the album on the song "TOPIA TWINS" and is definitely the highlight on that track and continues to do magic on the closing track as well. Lastly, "SKITZO" is near perfect with the only thing holding it back from being a 100 being the "YE>Biden" bar. Most of the rest of the album just feels incredibly sleepy and fails to keep my attention for a lot of it. If I had to point to one low point that stuck with me it would be on the song "LOOOVE" where I can't stop feeling like I am listening to "I Love It" feat Lil Pump. Oh yeah and "K-POP" is garbage too....

Edit 08/30/2023 71->77: I was definitely bugging a little bit when I first reviewed this album but it is safe to say this thing has grown on me a bit. K-pop is still terrible and it should have been left a single similar to A-team.... except I actually like A-team. Modern Jam and Fein are songs that have done the most to grow on me over time and I think I was just a little too harsh on the first two tracks because they may be some of the best material on here.
