How... In the biggest turnaround of the century, an aging child star with little talent relying on shitty tiktok trend songs and traumatic breakups to carry her popularity releases something absolutely amazing. Its not perfect, far from it, but it feel more real than anything she has ever released
Without a doubt the #1 album of 2025 SO FAR, but I cant bring myself to call this the definitive best. While the last 4 sounds make for one of the best endings to an album ever, it takes an awful long time to get there, and it does drag itself to get there.
It just sounds like something that an insane person would come up with. Off putting without being cringe, something very few can pull off.
Holy Sweet Mother Of God. The "must hear" tittle that is given to this album is an understatement to infinity +1. This is a necessary listen to anyone who calls themselves an ambient/garage fan. It does nothing wrong, nothing overstays its welcome, nothing sounds poor or just okay, everything is though of when it all comes together.
A good time to remind everyone that generational defining artists can make bad music. GNX is proof that Kendrick could release his own version of "Poopity Scoop" and people would call it gold. Peekaboo being rated an average of 77, squabble up being an 89, what? This album is by in large his worst ever, is so overproduced, uses (in some tracks) identical beats/drops/schemes, and people still love it.
