its a generous rating but this album is what ive been looking for forever. the writing is unmatched and hella emotional from the get go and the sound of this record is just all my favourite bands as one i LOVE IT

the first time i heard this album i never thought id be able to listen to it ever again, i violently sobbed to this record on my first go and i thought after that id never revisit it. that really wasnt the case though, i think ive played this album more than anything else released this year and for good reason. i keep coming back to shearling trying to decipher the lyrics and figure out the theory behind the music and its always an experience with every listen. 10/10 album for the ages
