Near perfect album, this is what a Rock Opera should sound like. Vocal performance by Gerard Way is phenomenal throughout the album, and the tone of each song fits throughout the album. Multiple songs you can come back to by themselves and you can thoroughly enjoy them (welcome to the black parade, Mama, Teenagers).

While I appreciate Eminem's attempt to be more vulnerable, and talking about politics but the majority of this album is hard to listen to. The high points of this album are "Believe" which has Eminem sounding hungry and ready to get back into music. "Castle" and "Arose" are masterpieces and Diamonds in the Rough. Personally, I really enjoy this album. Is it because of nostalgia or because of personal reasons? Maybe. Everyone knows the classics that are "Not Afraid" and "I Love the way you Lie" but I would like to draw attention to "Space Bound" as another song that its good on this album. Bongos go hard, lyrics are relatable honestly. Good music to vibe to and just relax while hanging with the buds.
Track 1: "High Walking"(6/10)- Groovy instrumental, brings me to the 90's with the commercials that would be on. Looped, nothing really special.
Track 2: "Late Night Television" (7/10)- Another Groovy instrumental that is reminiscent of a 80's/90's roller rink.
Track 3: "Shine!"(5/10)- Feels like it pulls inspiration instrumentally at least from Techno, reminds me of an 8 bit video game OST. Vocal parts are recorded well and integrated well.
