Phobia will not win over any skeptics still holding out on the band, but for those already happily settled in the Benjamin camp, it makes for another satisfying listen.

As pathological angst goes, itโs expertly done, with expansive choruses and epic riffs.

They've added some atmospherics and a more seductive sound, but Phobia is still overrun with an oppressively dark guitar attack and mediocre angst-rock.

Honestly, this deserves a 10. Genuinely. One of the most underrated albums of all time. Absolute perfection. It's just the most perfect Alternative Metal album, not only it has the most relatable Phobia concept to it, but the quality of the songs is TIMELESS.
